Bob Marshall Wilderness - Part 2

This is part 2 of our trip into the Bob Marshall Wilderness.

In part 1, we (David Firth, Mary Firth, Paul Gladen, Mike Winn, Jessica Winn) hiked 21 miles from the Lodgepole Pass trailhead (near Ovando off the MT 200) to the Confluence (past Hole in the Wall). We camped at the Confluence (of Youngs Creek and Danaher Creek) two nights and then floated to Salmon Forks Ranger Station.

In part 2, we hiked up to Big Salmon Lake, and then floated the South Fork of the Flathead River to the Black Bear Ranger Station. We camped there, and then hiked to Midcreek, and from there to the Meadow Creek Gorge takeout.
