And yes, we're similar on the stats - same height and I'm 37. Would be great to keep in touch and help/encourage each other! Onwards and upwards!

Hey there - thanks very much for your encouragement! I definitely would like to keep in touch and follow your progress as well. That is some phenomenal weight loss in the short time you've been doing it. I am down a total of 14.2 pounds in 4 weeks...ugh, seems slow, and I have so much to go. I started at 380, and I'd like to get to 250 (eventually). Let's trade some ideas. I'd like to learn more about what you're eating. I am still at 44 points per day so if you wouldn't mind, let's trade emails

Another thing. I do whatever I can to avoid drinking any points. I save them for food. I want to be at 250 by Christmas and I think I can do it if I stay the course. Also, you can go to your doctor and get your testosterone checked, if it is low use the patches they give you, it brings your energy level way up. I'm 38 years old and am 6'4...similar to you I think. Hang in there and send me a message if you need help sometime.

I am a cattle rancher and also a ww guy. I go the meetings and feel out of place, but I go. I started at close to 350 and am now at 305 in 1.5 months. I do not eat the weight watcher food, i find it not very good and me or my wife can do better for the same points. The hardest part is portion control I've found. I enjoy food so I like to eat and had let it be a major part of my life. Excercise and get the xtra points, anything is better than nothin. Do whatever it takes to stay motivated.

I'm on weightwatchers too so it great to see some more guys doing the same weight loss program as myself and posting their blogs about it.
Hey. I'm starting WW soon and I have to say...this video is giving me hope! I'm hoping it will help me successfully lose weight. I wanna have confidence in myself and I want to know that I look good. Thanks for the hope!

@hymnsinger5 thanks so much for watching! I have to say that WW is the best thing that has ever happened to me. It's not a diet, it's a way of life - more importantly, it's practical and realistic. Everything from the 35 bonus points that you can use each week for those "special" meals, or the support you get online and at the meetings. WW has changed my life. You're worth it, and it will change yours too! Let me know if I can help!!! Looking forward to following your success.

Congratulations on starting WW. I am a WWer too. It's a long journey. Take your time. Slow and steady. I started in Feb 2008 and I am about 50 lbs down from 332 to 283. I have started and stopped and started. I would recommend Bootcamp Buddies for WWers. We have a men's group in our "unofficial" ww support site. -- Mike K.
