@a5478312 Yep, the air get's a little thin of up here. Sometimes I envy you guys at the lower elevations. BTW, hope to get another video up soon. I did put one up with a side view from the left wing strut. Have a great day.

@a5478312 Enjoyed your video very much. I took off from 5400 feet and climbed to 8000 earlier this week. Although my climb is good from the airport, it was dragging a little at 8000 feet as far as climbing.

I think a used single place like this will run between $4500 to $9000 depending on a lot of factors. To build from new would cost more. I solo'd in a Cessna 150 many years ago and with a little training, it feels similar. I'm in Colorado. What part of the country are you in?

How much does a Challenger like that cost? I would like to find a used one in good condition. I have been flying for 12 yrs. but I do not have a plane at the time. The Challenger seems to be what I'm lookng for.

Looked like you were having too much fun, but how can that be in a Challenger>
Next time I see or speak with Jim, I will pass on your message.

I do come out to Colorado to go Elk Hunting about every 2 yrs. I go about 120 miles S.E. of Denver. When I had my Pacer I flew to Colorado to Elk Hunt every yr. I'm not coming this year but mabe when I do come, I might make a trip your way & check your Challenger out. It's a beautiful bird!!! Take Care Sir!!!

Im from the far western tip of Virginia. I solo'd in a Cessna 172 & bought a Piper Tri Pacer & restored it. It was a real joy to fly. It had a clipped wing so low speed landings were tricky but, it's response in crosswinds was great. I also had a Nieuport 11 replica that I built. I had the engine quit at about 1200 ft. 20 miles from the nearest airport & had to land in a guys corn field. Needless to say my wife made me sale it that summer!!

I was hoping you were close to Colorado so you could see the plane. Your experience in flying and restoring sound really impressive. Sorry about your Nieuport 11. My Challenger is a clipped wing and has about a 6 to 1 glide ratio. Probably like the Pacer. Pretty impressive turn ability as well. Anyway, I have four other videos under pastorlarkin that you might enjoy. Best to you.
