you might be right, but i'm going to reserve my final judgement once i see the finished film, i wouldnt discount every video game movie, resident evil series was awsome, but other than that i cant think of any other video game movie that was halfway good lol, it could be crap or it could be good. but yeah your probably right because they have the guy from doom directing it. but they said that this is actually based in the street fighter universe so who knows.

If I had to pick... I actually don't mind the first mortal kombat. It has it's moments and only suffers from the fact that lui kang is its main protagonist.

im kinda of curious about the new street fighter film, because the video games where really popular but their is barely any advertising going on for the new film. but that can be blamed on fox, since their distributing it, and capcom is making it.

well with these reviews you actually have time to share more of your opinion on whatever movie your reviewing, god i get tired of people who bitch about how much better the book or comic book was than the movie, so many years ago i went to go see return of the king, and this fan was telling me how much better the book was, but see ive read it too, and saw ths mov and loved it because i know its not a book its a fucking movie......and thats what most of the time hardcore fanboys are not getting.

No kidding. A book SHOULD be better. It has the luxury of going into depth about whatever topic it wants.

i found coraline quite weird and boring.

i think Nightmare BC was Tim Burtons? best film that i've seen. Much better than the new Charlie & TCF and Corpse Bride

Hey. Welcome back. I missed these. Couldn't agree with you more...saw it in 3-D here and you are dead on target about 3-D being wasted on it. Thought 3-D in Beowulf was magnificent. Also dead right...if I was a kid it would have scared me shitless. Great animation. Thought Teri Hatcher and Fanning were very good but not one of my favorites films and they charged like a wounded bull here for the 3-D. I wish i would have read this review earlier.

its sequels sucked though, it was like the first tomb raider it was fun to watch, but yeah the first mortal combat was really good, god i hated that second tomb raider film, the plot made me want to puke, then grab my puke and eat it, then strangle myself lol.
