  • Rust isn't a problem... The water splashes on other coasters like Griffon and SheiKra DO hit the track and ARE produced by the train skimming the water (not by water jets like Manta's).

This is just not possible on Manta because the train would have to skim the water on an angle which would be too unstable and unsafe for the riders.

  • i always thought the splash was from the wind of the train LMAO!

  • @Oneofakind407 fo sho

  • @slipknotmaggott666 oh thanks for telling me

  • @Oneofakind407 actually they are proximity sensors located on the track

  • damn, the coaster goes so fast it makes the water move!

  • OMG i want to go on that so badly now!

It reminds me of Air in Alton Towers but it looks more epic

  • omg this is like eyecandy for a roller coaster fanatic. i luv it! lol

  • they need this in te aussie one too! jet rescue is good but still needs more though :)

  • This ride is awesome, I just wish SeaWorld could make the splash to where it wets by standers, sort of like sheikra. Dont get me wrong I think the splash is amazing now I just think they could of done a little better and not make it so obvious that its not even dipping into the water. Honestly the wing tip is like a foot away from the water, they could atleast make sure the timing is right all the time like Ive seen wen its splashes like 2 seconds before the train even makes it.

  • In my recent visit to Orlando (just yesterday) I opted for Seaworld and experienced Manta both in the very front and very back (the back much better) however no matter where you sit that pretzel loop is fucking intense, it's easily the biggest range of G's I've ever felt from intensely negative going down in such a position to intensely positive at the bottom of the inversion on your back.
