A performance of Orbits (a piece for 80 Trombones, Soprano, and Organ) by Henry Brant performed at the Guggenheim Museum. This is the first performance of the night. I'm not sure if listening to a recording (especially from my camera) will have the same effect as listening to it in the Guggenheim Museum because of the architecture. Conducted by Neely Bruce. Do NOT talk to me about the camera work, I was playing trombone in this.
This is Video 1 of 3 for the first performance.

  • 99.9% of people have never even heard of or thought of spatial music... even most musicians.. i heard an NPR thing about him and Ives. Very cool. Musicians need to be as intrigued by sound as they are music.
