Ian KENT is an American songwriter/musician from upstate New York. Following in the footsteps of woody Guthrie and Jack Kerouac, Ian hitchhiked across the USA a few times before moving to Paris in the 1990s where he still lives today.

His raspy voice, guitar and knowledge of American music made him a choice singer for a number of bands, including Blackstone, whose third album is coming out in May.

Trick Bag, Ian KENT's first solo album features thirteen original songs and one cover and offers a mixture of folk, soul, rock and country music. Ian sings, writes lyrics and music, plays guitar, slide guitar and mandolin. Bass, drums and additional sounds are provided by Kent's band, The Immigrants.

Ian KENT est un musicien américain du nord de l'état de New York. Après avoir silloné les USA en stop à la Jack Kerouac, Ian s'installe à Paris où il vit depuis une dizaine d'années.

Trick Bag, son premier album solo propose un mélange de soul, country et rock à travers treize chansons originales et un cover.

Ian KENT chante, écrit, compose, et joue de la guitare, du lap-steel et de la mandoline, tandis que le reste de l'instrumentation (guitare, basse, batterie) est assurée par son groupe, The Immigrants.
