  • @lazyass902 excellent my friend!

  • looks a little like intermediate tang lang quan practitioners.

  • 100 fold and if you find me at the right place, time, and day you could beat me.

    No disrespect to you sir

we just have very different views but i enjoy conversations like this none the less, especially from a fellow martial artist.

    :_)

  • whats the difference between long distance and short distance in a fight?

one step now that one step could happen at anytime you're not gonna know when unless the person is very obvious and even the speed it's unpredictable.

now the way you're putting it you're saying that 2 men of the same skill, height, and weight will draw every time but thats just not true.

Many factors come into play in a fight whether it's the weather, gravel on the ground to a bird passing by.I could surpass your lvl of

  • you are wrong. Reach, especially in wing chun, is an enormous advantage. 2 people of similar skill will result in the taller man exploiting his reach advantage and the only way to neutralise that in wing chun is experience, intelligence, and movement. When you say that you 'got in close' to 'unload' on them, you belittle the difficulty of that initial closing step.

  • for sure! nobody like to fight a moster

  • a taller man only has reach witch means nothing

when I've fought larger guys in the past i just got in close and unloaded on them, now i would do the same but i would use my wing chun while doing so.

  • Size means a lot. Size is another factor just like quickness, endurance, strength, and technique. When technique is equal or roughly equal, the bigger player will definitely win.

  • ??? Do you even listen to yourself?

    Size means NOTHING.

  • Just like every other goon on youtube.

It's amazing.. people get on this site and suddenly they think they know something.

Let me explain this, as with all martial arts the more you practice a technique the more if becomes ingrained in your instincts. The more it becomes ingrained the easier it is to utilize in a real situation.

Chin Na teaches that your movement should be alive and able to adapt to any situation.
