Cant understand why the guy in Cirrus that had a part of the wing come off still pulled the chute when he already had it under control! If it's under control, then land.
At least here in Europe an airplane towing another has always priority, as far as I know. Regardless of the glider being towed, this seems like pilot error to me, since the towing plane came from right hand side and therefore it had priority.
Glider towing aircraft ALWAYS have priority... No they don't. Unpowered gliders have priority over powered planes when they are landing otherwise there is no US FAA rule like that covering two powered planes. The rule is don't hit each other!

yes, he was at fault..This was a "puff" piece for BRS and Cirrus, interesting as O'brien owns one, but great technology, amazing to find a parachute test landing of a biplane on youtube from the early 1930's...
