And when I looked at it I thought it was highly probably that she missed it. She went up at a bit of an angle and that is often what leads to up contacts being missed on the teeter. From my view (which obviously doesn't include frame by frame, but I used to be a judge at least) she appears to land just above the yellow.
My friend's dog missed his first up contact out there as well - on the dogwalk.I think they were watching more closely than judges at normal trials do

some awesome runs with them those were really nice ivie looked so happy and josie was just phenomenal as always sorry about that teeter...we got faulted for something EXACTLY like that once...=/ i guess its the judges call still good job!

I don't know what to say but WOW!!! Y'all look great out there.

Congrats on your third with Miss Ivie!!! And Josie definitely hit her teeter, no question. What a bummer. Good luck the rest of the weekend!!!!! =)

Wow, you had two gorgeous runs (Josie's teeter looks perfect to me)!! Good luck today! :)

If you pause the video right at 1:15 Josie clearly hit her teeter contact. That sucks, Em. Good job anyway!!!

Wow! Just awesome. Congrats for a great start!

Whooo! Those runs were AWESOME, and Josie so got that teeter she souldn't have been faulted. And Ivy came in behind Encore...WOOT! Awesome runs, girl can't wait to see more like that.
I think Josie missed the up on the teeter. I can't find any view in the video that negates that view. Youtube won't let me pause at 1:14, only at 1:13 and 1:15, neither of which shows a foot in the up contact. She clearly got the down and did not fly off.

You brought up an interesting point I hadn't yet thought of since neither of my dogs has ever, not once, missed an up contact in competition (or any time as far as I know)
YT let me pause it at 1:14 but that didn't help any either. I went frame-by-frame in my video-editing program, and she is RIGHT about the yellow on stride #2 with her front feet. So, while shadows make it hard to see a paw in the yellow at that angle, going off body motion and physics, it's highly improbable she missed it
