@kuyt90 Dossena? lol. Yeah Benitez did buy a lot of crap players, but only because he was given little funds in the transfer market so he had to get free transfers like Degen, Jova, and others. If NESV gave Benitez the cash, I think he would have spent it much better than Dalglish in my opinion. Dalglish made some great signings (Enrique, Suarez, Coates) but Benitez is the type of person who could bring a player like Mata into the squad, and some other class players.

@mrmeanero not saying Kenny's done a bad job. he's done great. but Hodgeson was brought in at a hard time. Kenny had time to get ready for trades and lure players for a long time, etc. so there's a lot to it. Liverpool's season started picking up too after the poor start but he was always an interim coach. and he looks like such a nice chap too. i liked him! haha

different times though. hodgeson had to patch up a squad. did he have as much funds to spend. no. he brought meirales in and he was one of the most in form midfielders of last season. so now kenny sends him to... CHELSEA...wtf?? and he's playing really well there too. would liverpool be playing better if he was still there. i think yes. so thats a negative to me. plus adebeyor looked a lot better than carrol the other week. for A LOT LESS.
