Here is a great clip of an interview about the song, and beautiful footage of the Alberta Pariries...along with a version of the song played with Mike Lent. Feel Free to share with someone who needs a blanket....
Karla, every time I hear your voice singing this song I break down. It is truly the most beautiful song I've ever heard. The most beautiful, raw words ever written. You are an amazing artist and your career continues to blow me away. - Your friend, Susan
Karla - just watched the new video... my favourite song of yours right up there with Cathedral... when are you coming to Europe? You make me proud to be an Albertan, proud to be a Canadian and most proud of all that we are poets... your song is purest poetry of the eternal kind... a voice that will ring throught the halls of infinity for eternity...
what else can I say... you touch the nerve of the raw heart of humanity... of love and of life.
I first heard this song on Party Of Five (Season 3 Episode 12) which is currently being shown on TV. It's a beautiful song and it's interesting to now know thanks to this video how this song came about and the incredible meaning behind it. My question, which I hope someone will be able to answer, is whether the version from Party of Five (1997) is the same version on the album which you can buy from CD Baby (released in 2005)? Thanks.
how's it going girl? hope that all is well with you out there. say hi to your mum. hope to see you sometime ?? let me know if you are ever coming to our neck of the woods!
