481 N. Main St., Glen Ellyn | Renaissance Art Studio is a downtown business specializing in custom picture framing and the restoration of oil p aintings and vintage picture frames. Our staff includes 2 certified picture framers and over 60 years combined framing experience. Started in 1995, we have become a studio offering over 1000 frame samples, 100's of fabric and cardboard mat boards to choose from and numerous prints, photographs and original art work to help satisfy one's decorating needs. We carry prints by famed local artists Tom Lynch and Mark McMahon and original photos by Santee Erfe, Joe Costello, and James Wennersten. We can frame anything from a two foot long snakeskin to a tiny sweater in a shadowbox. Old family photos, child art, and travel souvenier treasures are favorite pieces to frame. We can take an old flea market frame or any one of our frame samples and turn it into a great mirror, too.
Renaissance also features a great selection of imprintable invitaions, note cards and laser papers. Our unique calligraphy lettering bed can "hand" calligraphy any invitation and make a wedding envelope look spectacular.
We also have fun jewelry, scarves and pashminas, photo frames and vintage looking personalized signs.
At Renaissance quality, professionalism, experience and craftsmanship are synonymous with our name. We are a fun, friendly place to meet friends and shop.

I got an account just 2 comment on this video. I work as a framer at Michaels Arts & Crafts in Thunder Bay, On Canada and i LOVE what i do but I HATE the environment. I am only 20 years old and have a HUGE passion for framing but my boss does not. I would love to work at a smaller shop but there isn't much in a small city. I love the feeling of making the customer happy and taking the time and effort to do my job right even though no one around me seems 2 care! keep up the good work you rock!
