I got Pursuit of the Sun & Allure of the Earth and I really liked that album. It had a lot of weak points, but when it got it right, it got it really right, and there was something so unique about it. I can't get into this new song, though. Is the whole album like this?

@Metal666Mark to "pine for", or "pine away for", someone = to long for waste away from the sadness of a broken heart,, to long painfully; to fail gradually in health or vitality from grief, regret, or longing; to be discontented; fret.

A good german translation would be "Ich verzehre mich nach Dir", which sounds very romantically. Remember this sentence, if I'll ever meet a german girl and use it rarely ;-)
"Und ich sehnte mich für dich" is not gramatically not correct, it must be "Ich sehne mich nach Dir", which is almost the same as "ich verzehre mich nach Dir". It's literally translated and quite ok, but I'd prefer "verzehren", there are much more emotions in this one.

I dont know what language you speak, but in french the title means something like "Et je suis languissant pour toi" and in deutsch it's something like that "Und ich sehnte mich für dich"(not sure about this one, I just started lerning german). But, the word "pining", means something like decaying or suffering.

Maybe it's just me being dumb, but what does the word "Pining" actually mean. I searched for a dutch translation for it, but couldn't find any.
