The anime barely covers any of the first phase. It only goes until about chapter 91 out of a current 309, with the first phase ending at chapter 237. Second phase goes from 238 until 303.

God i luv Gantz! i just hated how it ended in the anime :P i really hope they make another series of gantz cuz its so GOD DAM AWESOME!!!!
