I mean look at all that research about the comics in this movie. Then came The Last Airbender which is based off a show that has a lot of effort and research put into it.
So instead of hiring the Chinese calligrapher and martial arts consultant,...he just let that film have hand flailing and gibberish
That would be like Unbreakable having Price owning doodles by a five year old with a person in cape and passing it off as good.
