Fast Disclaimer

All day at work I record commercials. Often these ads have the fast legal read at the end that needs to be attached. I record this as quickly as I can and do not speed them up using the time compression feature, unless absolutely necessary. Most people don't believe me when I tell them that is how I do it...so I used my cell phones camera to prove it. It took me 4 attempts, but I did it!

thats not how they do it :P i bet they read it at normal speed then increase with computer to fit in given time. its funny to listen when it last for good time and u cant tell what they r saying :D (fox internet tv)

Actually (as this is my profession) it depends on a few variables. If they give you 10 seconds to read something that you can read in your own voice, quickly, and make it fit in the allotted time, that is your best bet. If its a bit long we chop the audio up and overlap parts of it so as the end of one sentence is spoken the beginning of the next plays over it. If its to long for that we can speed it up with "time compression" software...
