back in Them daze Van and Mick were quite similar but Van was the man even then. this is a great clip from his peak Them days--when he was just a little punk w/ some mighty power and raw determination, excess of artistic passion...forget the technical imperfections. deadbeat audience didn't help matters either!
@drumuniv wtf?? you having a laugh right? this is from 1965! in UK pop music this was pretty revolutionary. though the sound is shit and the audience is dead compared to the packed sweaty clubs they were used to playing in Belfast. And btw the drummer was still in school! As a musician you should know and respect this bit of history.
