We journey off the Blue Ridge Parkway for an interview with a docent at a famous Fresco Church. You might know the term Fresco from Michelangelo's painting technique he employed on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. The frescoe churches we visited house famous NC artist Ben Long's work.

  • wow, another great vid. about beautiful places, thanks so much buddy !!!

  • @paullongball You are so kind... I hope you two are ready for spring.. It may already be spring out there in CA. We are heading to New England this spring, but maybe next year we can make our way over to the great Northwest. We can have a beer? I'll bring my flat top.

  • 'scuse me, Dan, while I shout at the world:

Hey World! I been tellin' you guys about Dan McCoig as a great skilled master of painting- well, there it is, at 0:08

He is so kind & humble, he just flashes you with a shot of his work, but please, pause it there, take a long gander.

This guy can paint!!! Some of his memorable paintings I can still recall years later, they are that awesome.

We all love his animation (great intro), but know that he is a fine artist. A rare, capable grand master talent

  • Dearest Dan & Janet!

Thank you for sharing this breathtaking beauty, as only you can do it in your inimitable style. You are the best! ;D

    love to you both

  • @rj63227 Thanks so much, ha we are behind as well.

  • Yet another good one. You keep putting me further behind in my travels. :)
