All the anti-heroes of yesterday like cool hand Luke, midnight cowboy, network, Cookoos nest & many more are now replaced by heroes & villains. Now all Americans can follow the finger of the director of which is which & don't have to use their minds anymore these days. Just like politics isn't it. Alternatively, you have the stereotypes of dumb guy vs strong egotistical narcissistic female with an attitude.

this is one of the greatest films ever made hands down. Its too bad that u cant make a movie like this nowadays because of all the political crap and people being tight about what to show and what not to show in the cinemas.

It's more like as though Travis lost it all because of a girl.
True, the girl was the last straw, but she wasn't the main reason for his action.
