Documentary about the Springfield Race Riot of 1908. As a direct result of the Springfield Race Riot, a meeting was held in New York City to discuss solutions to racial problems in the U.S. This meeting led to the formation of the NAACP. Featuring interviews with Roberta Senechal de la Roche and Cullom Davis.

  • there is no both sides to it. this was horrible and these poor people suffered.

  • secret? i don't think so . i heard about riot 40 years ago . every holiday or reunion the subject would come up . mainly my great -grandmothers generation, they witnessed it. my  gr-grandmothers uncle was chief of detectives on the police department. i heard arguements from both sides.
