Wyndham Resorts makes it look so so good when you go for their tour, well actually, when we went for our tour in Gatlinburg Tennessee they said the "main" resort was full so they put us up in their "second line" resort, stuffed us on the bottom level in the back corner. (I called it "The Dungeon").

  • Something went wrong whenever you called. Why would you have even waited 30 minutes? I would have hung up after the first 15 minutes and called back. Everytime I call I get someone during the first 5 minutes. Cypress Palms is an old resorts, but it has been updated. I'm not if you were there when it has been updated or not. Wyndham is the best vacation company I know of.

  • We tried several times but not fuming, just stating the facts, maybe the luck of the draw, maybe they all had an emergency? Just showing what happened PCJ

  • first of all not all the customer service is the worst, "speaking as a x employee". and there might be a long wait time if it just so happens that this guy called when we were about to close... so hes basically in a loop right now. especially for the get up and go dept. the people who dont like the point system should maybe just stay with a fixed week and just go back to there home resort year after year. maybe thatll work for you.

  • So it is not "Get up and go" and there are times etc when you cannot. You would think a big organization would have some type of 24 hr service to prove the punch. You know what I mean? I can get better get up and go service from any local hotel when I call and they answer.

  • A simple example like this shows a big part of the company.

  • The resorts are nice, but the customer service is the WORST! And we own Wyndham points and are really disgusted with the company. Don't ever be duped into buying points from Wyndham; it will be the biggest mistake you have ever made in your life. I am not a happy customer.

  • Exactly, I know you have to go all out to keep the sale, but retaining the client is a whole different story. They know little about that end. I guess being in the people/service industry, it allows us to look deep into the reality of the sale... and we did not like what we saw.

A large part of that is true. Someone will see the complaints like this and then *still* try their luck and then be shocked that it turned out the same way. But instead of cutting losses, they will spend more time, energy and money trying to make it work.

It's why the world deals with spam. Spammers send junk to 1,000,000,000 inboxes because 10,000 will open it up and buy something.

  • They can treat customers like this because customers will not take their business elsewhere

  • that is not good please you should not be use to getting f in the as my name is wyndm and that is poor mgn they whould be fired if it was my place makes my name look bad and that pises me off.

  • I am a Wyndham employee for GUGO- ask me all your questions immediately! I will be happy to assist you- but you probably called LATE- now we close at 11pm est

  • Spoken like a true asshole who rips off people. Shame on you. Timeshares is a scam. it has became my passion to wreck the timeshare industry. PEOPLE, NEVER BUY A TIMESHARE. LISTEN TO DAVE RAMSEY ON THIS SUBJECT.

5 min to book the vacation??LOL

We bought Kona Hawaiian Timeshare for $20,000 cash in 2001. Maintenance $634/year. Never been able to get the booking of the places that we ever want. For the last 9 years, we were able to use 3 weeks, all we got was 2 rooms apartment/motel. Not a hotel, no star to mention. For just $634 a year maintenance fee, you get have a better holiday that we could get with that about $30K we paid. Gave away for free and BE FREE.
