अभी मैं कुछ वर्ष पहले एक गांव में था। एक बूढ़ा आदमी आया। मित्र लेकर आये थे और कहा कि आपको कुछ काम दिखलाना चाहते है। मैंने कहा, दिखायें। उस बढ़े ने अद्भुत काम दिखलाये। रूपये को मेरे सामने फेंका वह दो फिट ऊपर जाकर हवा में विलीन हो गया। मैंने उस बूढे आदमी से कहा, बड़ा चमत्का र करते है आप। उसने कहा, नहीं यह कोई चमत्कारर नहीं है। सिर्फ हाथ की तरकीब है। मैंने कहा, तुम पागल हो। सत्यस साई बाबा हो सकते थे। क्याो कर रहे हो। क्योंी इतनी सच्ची़ बात बोलते हो?

चमत्कार शब्द का हम प्रयोग करते है, तो साधु-संतों का खयाल आता है। एक जो ठीक ढंग से मदारी हैं, ‘Honest‘ वे सड़क के चौराहों पर चमत्का-र दिखाते है। दूसरे: ऐसे मदारी है, Dishonest, बेईमान, वे साधु-संतों के वेश में, वे ही चमत्का र दिखलाते है। जो चौरस्तों पर दिखाई जाते है। बेईमान मदारी सिनर है, अपराधी है, क्योंेकि मदारीपन के अधार पर वह कुछ और मांग कर रहा है।
