  • Catheter ablation for Afib is a corporate-driven procedure which is riskier and less effective than advertised: Read "Collateral Damage" by Dan Walter

  • Always remember that in a lot of cases this is doable. I did it, you can do it. I dealt with this nightmare and you can deal with it as well. I am off caffeine products, I forgot about alcohol, and these are two tiny sacrifices I made. I am a competative martial artist, yoga practitioner, and I am dealing with this situation and keep it under control. Listen to your doctor first, help yourself second. It is a hard fight - no doubt. I pray for all afib victims, I love you all. Be strong.

  • I am a former afib victim that hit me several times and was nearly lethal at one point. I am a very fit man with an aboslutely healthy heart anatomically. I practically reversed by now the situation and had only one 24 hr episode in 3 years that required cardioversion. I was a chronic patient three years ago, I am in sinus rythm for three years, I am off blood thinners, but it is a big life-style effort. A lot of things can be done by you - the patient. I trusted my doctors, but relied on myself

  • had this done today

  • got this done, last thursday.. MESSAGE me if you have any questions about it

  • @FreeTVideo im gonna have mine done tomorrow in Austin and i will be awake during the procedure

  • Your so lucky. I had that procedure done, twice. The second time my surgeon accidently stabbed a hole through my heart which sent me into cardiac arrest and I basically died. They then brought me back with cpr and then they cracked open my chest with a bone saw and stitched the hole closed in my heart. I still have SVT WPW and am recovering which will take 6 months thanks to my DOCTOR>! I have hidden WPW which apparently is hard to get rid of, that or my doctor is a complete fraud.

  • @NiNi995 I gotta say, emotionally it sucked big time. I was shaking like crazy and I let some tears drop. I eventually thought there was something going wrong because every beat of my heart hurt, and you can immagine that that's not very nice when your hearts beating more than 200 times per minute..

  • @A7XIkeUchiha Anesthesia? I had it done while I was awake :o I'm not a person who cries but I accually started crying.. I was shaking like crazy the whole time.

  • I am 20 years old, and I am undergoing this on the 24th of this month. I am freaking out, so far the worst has been of course the SVT attacks and the adenosine administered. That was a horrible feeling that only those who have gotten it can understand. I hope everything goes great and hopefully everyone is doing great!
