Motive power of the former Soviet Union is featured in this video slideshow including 2TE10. 2TE116, 2M62, TEP60, TEP70, TEM-2 and tours of the Locomotive Factory and Locomotive Depot at Daugavpils. Most of the material is from 2008 but some also from 2007.

  • The TE10 class of locomotives are awesome

  • @trainmanlars Carbody, frame, bogies, electrical gear, radiators, auxiliaries, etc. are all Soviet built. Putting in new engine does not change that. My opinion is it is still a Soviet design and most of it is still of Soviet manufacture.

    Just my opinion, yours is just as valid. They stlil LOOK like Soviet locos.
