(Sacramento) With the state now in its third year of drought and hundreds of thousands of acres of farmland left idle due to a lack of water, a multi-billion dollar water bond measure is desperately needed to deal with Californias worsening water crisis. Assemblymember Anna Caballero (D-Salinas) is leading the effort to create a water bond measure for California voters to consider in November 2010. Assemblymember Caballero says a water bond measure similar to the one proposed by the Governor and U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein is a good starting point. Learn more in this Assembly Web Report.
