Awesome! Love the long-hood forward catch!

@BoxcarFrank Another good spot that I like to watch is when Kirkstone dead-ends at the tracks.

One word to describe this vid: SWEETLIGHTTTTT!!!! Too bad you couldn't bag that longhood IAIS train in that same lighting. Oh well, can't win em all I guess, at least you scored some geeps on it.

is Molenia inbetween Joliet IL and Blue Island, If so the IAIS and Metra use Cab signal rules from Blue Island Vermont Street to Joliet and that is why there are no lineside signals in the video Is the Rock Island district IAIS fist sub dispatched out of Lasalle Street station? and whats the train speed for metra and IAIS trains on the line?

Wow, cool dude!
Hey Frank, where is this spot and is this one the same as the first shot train seen, I would love to go shoot the Iowa here some time in the Spring/summer.

Everything in this video is shot within less than a mile of each other. You can get here going South on Townline Rd until it ends. Thats where I shot the Iowa. Where the paved road ends, a gravel road starts that parellels the tracks. Briefly follow that until you see the signal bridge. I shot the Metra 421 here. You can Google Map Townline Rd to get a better idea of where it is and how to get there. I can practically walk here I live so close! Hope this helps!
