Thank you, I was waiting for this opening to arrive! The last scene with Mel and the cake never left my memory. I loved the episodes with Diane Ladd. Can't wait to see the Season 5 opening with her prior to Celia Weston's arrival.

Alice was one of my favorite shows growing up. This takes me back to memories of very happy times with my Gram as we use to watch it together. I was only a kid when this was on, and never noticed, but I think Vera is beautiful. She is my mother's age, but I would love to take a time machine back 30 years and date a down-to-earth girl.

I sang this song to a friend in my best Linda Lavin voice, and he told me that I sounded more like Alice Cooper.
