Good luck with your aim of broadening political appeal via the internet. It is well intentioned of course, but I don't believe there is mass demand on youtube or anywhere else for it. Not when you can "communicate directly" with voters in conventional ways.

I would disagree. My videos have been up for the last 6 weeks and I have just under 50,000 video views. Also we are living in a time when leaflets are discarded in the rubbish with they pizza menus, many people are out when you knock on doors, and man-power is low to contact large areas. This medium allows us to cut through this and talk directly with voters in a 2-way conversation...

Thanks for the comment. I think it is time for a change in politics. I believe that politicians should use new media such as youtube to communicate directly with voters. I also believe that more "ordinary" people should be involved in politics.

Funny, I have yet to see a £5000 SNP tax bill? In fact, the SNP has given my small business rates relief and they have frozen council tax. I think I'm far better off with a nationalist government than the Labour Party in Scotland!

I'm still waiting for my £5000 tax bill - actually come to think of it, my council tax has been frozen this year and I no longer pay road tolls on the Forth Bridge, saving £250 a year. I think a lot of people who may not support independence are fairly happy with how the SNP government are getting on. At least they are always doing their best for Scotland.

Shame on Labour MSPs for voting down the Holyrood budget, if councils are short of funds next year then we know who to blame.
