METHOD

With its multidimensional nature is Keysi Fighting Method (KFM) one of the most complete forms of self-defense in the world today.

KFM has a dynamic approach to self defense, and is focused on both the physical and mental aspects of self-defense. The method is a study that exposes and emphasizes the characteristics necessary to master the game against both one and multiple opponents. KFM is self-knowledge "under scrutiny" and wipes away the myths and fantasies about self-defense.

KFM is not a random mix of techniques and systems, or a theoretical explanation for these. It is a carefully planned unity of concepts and prinispper, which has been thoroughly tested and proven.

In KFM, we study:

hand-held weapons
kick away
stroke distance
grip distance
standing wrestling and nedtakninger
match at the ground level

HISTORY

Keysi Fighting Method originated in a small mining town on the outskirts of Seville in Spain on 12 October 1957, the day when the founder Justo Dieguez Serrano was born.

Through his work in the mines from the very young age Justo learned early in life to take care of themselves. Conflicts in the mines and in the streets was, unfortunately, commonplace throughout childhood to Justo. This experience was the start of an amazing journey with challenges and achievements, for what is now emerging as a modern self-defense genius.

Escape from the mining life Justo led on a journey around the world to study various martial arts. Justo was in a constant quest for answers to their questions. He met many instructors with good news and that promised much, but few of them managed to meet the promises they gave. Justo realized early on that the truth lay in themselves and not others, and his own inner journey began.

On his trip Justo met the controversial and uncompromising Andy Norman. Andy was born in Ferriby, England in July 1965 and was on a similar journey.

Although Justo and Andy came from two very different cultures and backgrounds, they sought both by the same road. The day fate brought them together was the beginning of what today is Keysi Fighting Method.

  • Im thinking about learning this some day. New knowledge is good! A new approach to fighting, nothing wrong with that. Like I say, don't be negative and just try and learn. Good or bad, you still improve and grow.

  • @usmc1forcerecon You got it! :) This is the best fighting method I've ever trained, and for my ''use''. You should try it, start whenever you want :)

  • How do you protect your ribs if your hand are always on your head?

  • @killsforcash since they are up to your head you can easily lean to the side and protect ur ribs, or move ur knee up against it (both is best) Its things you learn and will become naturel to you when you train.

  • @ZapFlap oh ok, one more question. How would one defend from a straight punch and not a hook?

  • @killsforcash You would close ur arms together and go strait on the punch to hopefully damage / break his arm. Hope this came to help, pm me if you need anything more.

  • @MrClinton19 some moves, i know that you probably saw systema only on internet and only the slow kind of training, but when it comes to actual sparring, it looks quite like this.

plus using the natural reaction (raising your hands to sides of head when someone attacks you), rather than pre-described techniques. i don't say it has somehting to do with systema, and many people train what i call gay systema, but we did it the hard way, and many times i was able to defend like these guys

  • @ahellfreak one other method ive found that doesnt have many flaws is krav maga, have you tried that?

  • @surobakianinpo how does this remind you of systema? not being a jerk im honestly wandering what aspect of it reminds you of systema.

  • it looks to me like it leaves your body and private parts open a great deal...

  • reminds me of our systema trainings

  • @slouttop

You're from thought that there is actually one style that is better than all the others aren't you? Learning all kinds of styles is best. Yeah, I can see weaknesses in this style, but that's not to say that it doesn't have some really good strengths. I have taken many different styles (I really don't even know how many) and all have their weaknesses and strengths. The sooner you learn this the more your mind will be open to get better at fighting.

  • mas se uma pesoa q luta outra arte vai da nas pernas e tronco
