@NathansBackwoods ya. atleast it is select shift and the transmission is comparable to a allisons. but there will be no more fully manual transmissions so i see in the future alot of aftermarket manual tranny's

@twfish2013, i was disappointed that ford did that. I was building my own truck on their website and i was selecting an engine, i thought where the he ll is the manual.
-
@NathansBackwoods it a 8 speed select shift auto ;( its still better than there current 6 speed auto but still its disappointing that they will probably stop making full manuals like ford and chevy did
-
@twfish2013, 8 speed manual...do you know if its eaton fuller? that would be freaking awesome to have an 8 speed behind a cummins.

@NathansBackwoods im talking stock for 2011. and i heard the 6.7 could get up to 700 hp and over 1500 on the torque with going through the computer itself with no after market upgrades. and it will be intresting for 2012 to see dodges 8 speed transmission and hopefully a power upgrade because personally i hate chevy even though i own one ( that i got for free ) and maybe soon we will see a new duramax but as for right now the most attractive stock engine it is the 6.7 powerstroke
-
@twfish2013, i know they are done with the 6.4, but the 6.7 and the dmax aint blowing the cummins out of the water. They may have more power from the factory stock than the 6.7, but their are some pretty impressive 5.9s out their, i hear a 5.9 made around 2500 hp and that # is probably pretty close to the torque it makes.

@NathansBackwoods ford is done with the 6.4 now they have the 6.7 and currently its blowing cummins and dmax outa the water. and dmax is keepin up with it alot better than cummins
-
People are saying the ford 6.4 and 6.7 are gonna blow cummins away....Im a Ford guy, and those engines are showing great potential, but they have a while before they catch up to this engine....Are you guys using H beam rods or just stock cummins rods?

ahh so thats wat broke
So this 03-04 CR has a 6.7L Cummins swap? How is the reliability in relation to its power?

This is a 2005 truck and electronics with a 6.7 block. Reliability is fine.. We're not really pushing for that though. This year should be near 1000rwhp.
