Its no secret that the more programs you install on your PC, the slower it will eventually become. However, with all of the advances in computers and operating systems, like Windows 7, the TuneUp Blog team wanted to test this theory out to see if its actually still true. @casecar I have been using TuneUp for a long time and the services actually help you keep your computer clean and fast. The services don't make the computer slower at all. If you don't like the services, then turn them off. CCleaner is not so good. TuneUp has everything with it.

@casecar Again, the services are to help you, they just use 700KB for me, and if you can't stand that, then I'm really sorry for you. Does CCleaner have all the features that TuneUp has? I don't think so.

and Tuneup doesn't add services..? That's why I removed this program, my pc has "more than enough" RAM, disk space etc. Adding services defeats the purpose of a "clean-up utility"!!! Tuneup Utilities, no matter which version, is a TOTAL JOKE!!!
Back to CCleaner for me!!! Cheers!!
Sidenote.... what's with all the 600+ registry entries...left behind after un-install?
CRAPWARE!!!
