V8 Tacoma to 100mph

Just accelerating to a little over 100. The tires are much larger than stock which makes the gearing a lot lower, thus, making 3rd gear do about 140mph. So I just went to 100 in 3rd which seems to be the fwy passing gear. Then I shifted up to 5th which is very low rpm.. even at 100.

@kushnugz He dude everythings going great! I drive it almost everyday here and there. I've been fighting with smogging my little Acura Integra so that's been sucking all my time away from the truck. :-( I am going to smog the car again today as I just found the problem after 2 WEEKS of workin on the car! My mileage on the truck ain't bad at all!! There isn't a more eddicient V8 running around here that I know of. ;-) The key is NOT pressing down hardly at all on the throttle. hehe

@kushnugz If you hit the pedal hard it will absolutely dump fuel in the engine as this custom computer will do exactly what you tell it to - whereas a regular production car computer actually will meter the fuel into the cylinders for you when you floor it - thus providing decent fuel economy. So if I drive it light as a feather the truck still moves fast because it doesn't weight anything and it will get good mileage! It's a trip. I'm also building hydrogen injection for it now. :-D

SO that's what that noise is. My taco was rear ended and the day before the insurance came to pick it up in my driveway i turned it on and burned some rubber and rev'd the hell out of it. whole time heard that noise along with black smoke. haha. bought the truck for $3k got $8k back for it!

@xbigxredx2009 Haha yeah I have a new set of gauges going soon but I can't decide if I'm keeping the original dashboard in or not... I can't wait to re-gear the truck too. It's horrible right now.

@cobber427 I JUST spent all day putting a new transmission in it and working on the bell housing. My trusty vertical mill took care of the business and my truck now runs with a silent transmission. =D Next video will be nice and smoooth power.
