Which Scale Should You Use?

I'm always asked which scale should be used over this chord.
The answer lies in the connection you have between the chord and the scale.
In order for a scale to work over a particular scale, that chord needs to be extracted from that scale.
Flipping the problem around can answer your question! :-)
