On 6th. March in Parramatta Park NSW Greens and Member of the Legislative Council NSW Lee Rhiannon MLC spoke against the proposed mandatory filtering scheme proposed by the Federal Labor Government.
The Parramatta rally/picnic was part of a National Day of Action against the proposed mandatory filterng schemer of the Federal Labor Government.
These are the first 10 minutes of the Q&A session where Lee Rhiannon answers questions regarding issues relating to the filter. The Q&A section was about 30 minutes and included questions about R18+ games, the DDOS attacks by Anonymous and issues relating to gender discrimination. It should be noted that Lee Rhiannon neither condoned nor defended the DDOS attacks - seemingly regarding them as part of the political landscape.
It was also commented that items that appear in the media are called "drops" and are intended to stir the populace into support of a mandatory filter.
This idiotic old slapper is right off chops.

The Internet filter is all about censorship.
It's good to see a politician speak out against it, it only seemed the minority would talk out against it.
I'm hoping more good will come out of stopping the lies being told by Senator Conroy and stop him from introducing this draconian legislation...
