Look idiots, sport fishing for shark is not killing them off. I tag and release most and keep a couple for meat each year. You want to know what IS killing off the sharks? Chinese, Japanese, and Russian long line fishing ships which harvest hundreds of thousands of sharks each year.

S why don't you go protest that and not a couple guys fishing for substinance or tagging purposes.

The sharks they killed are BAIT. Those little things are only going to be munched down by the bronzies anyway. This is sport fishing...catch and release. If you eat shark(or any other big fish) anyway you're an absolute retard...big fish contain high amounts of mercury...and if anyone want's to argue about it...I suggest you go get you're head examined :)

man, this goes on every summer on the skeleton coast. 1000's of saffas come up the coast in the summer and just fish all day every day. the locals shoud shoot them and send'em back south. its a disgrace and should be stopped!!!!!. no bag limits here and no policing!!!!
