Philip and Melanie 1/6/2011 (Brady/Philip fight, Maggie/Philip, Phelanie, Nate finds out)

Brady and Philip fighting...awesome! LOL

Even Vivian feels Philip's pain. I love it. She loves him so much, crazy as she is.

As I have said before I have very little sympathy for Melanie in all this,,,but once again Molly tugs at my heartstrings. She makes Mel's pain so apparent in her performance. Melanie is still so angry and irrational....

Maggie going off on Philip reminds me of 2009 when she was blocking Philip from Melanie. It saddens me because I love the Maggie and Philip relationship so much, but I still have hope they will repair things. I did love how Philip just listened to Maggie's rant, and then takes a moment to plead his father's case. Love how he cares about Victor and Maggie even when his life in shambles.

Speaking of shambles, Melanie and Philip scene...gaw...it is so weird seeing them in a room without touching, without all the love. Great job by Jay and Molly for making this distance so palpable. Seems like the fact that Philip was with Chloe is her hot button. She threw him out the moment he started talking about what he had discussed with Chloe about Parker. Some things are definitely coming into focus there.

Parallels, anvils, foreshadowing abound. Philip and Melanie have always mirrored each other...and nothing has changed on that front. Do you guys see the mirror I am referring to?

What can I say about Nathan? I just wish they had a different guy in this role...a real character. He definitely is no Brady. (well old Brady) He continues to disappoint me...sigh.

OK read on Dayscafe about Mark being out - really kinda upsets me I know Phelanie has to have angst but I'd much prefer to see a triangle with Phil/Mel/Nate than back to the same shit with Mel/Phil/Steph - and don't want to see MelPhil/Dan/Chloe in a quad because that just seems kinda gross.......I much prefer to see Steph leaving.

@karrie2820 Maybe the new guy Dario will be thrown with them when Nathan leaves. Stephanie has to be have a new love interest besides Philip. Every Days woman pretty much has two men.

Slyn Love reading your comments - we think so much alike where Phelanie are concerned. JKJ and MB blew me away as usual, I hated that they didn't touch each other throughtout the whole scene, I want him to just hug her and tell her he loves her. I think it's like if they touch Phillip will just fall apart, he's trying to give her time, he's trying to hold it together, but wants so badly to touch her and comfort her, as well as soak up the comfort he NEEDS from her. We definetely have our angst

@slyn11 Ugggh, Rafe gets a brother, Barf, Gag, Choke really we lose a Horton so GT's best butt buddy can get a brother, that's enough for me to want to turn off the TV now.....I can't stand Safe and now this friggin jackass is gonna have another one come to town. Boy for an orphan his family just grows and grows.....before long they'll take over Salem not a Horton, DiMera, or Kiriakis in sight just Hernandez and Brady boinking like rabbits and making more.

@slyn11 Don't know anything about Dario but honestly Stephanie stayng in the mix is a large part of the problem, she needs to go.......and that's another thing they need to stop with the quad mess, give us a real triangle where we can feel the angst with the girl (or guy) truly torn between the two people....They had that with Mate, I could feel that Nathan loved Melanie and also that she loved him as well, BUT not like she loved Phillip.
