They arn't. Spec out a Dell with the same specs of a Macbook Pro and it will be the same price.

I really really want one!!!!! For Christmas I want a macbook pro or erlier would be good. My computer power only last for a few minutes and the macbook pro lasts for like 10 hours

I sure do!!! The OS is very intuative and easy to use. The creative apps rub much better on OS 10 than windows...
