well that's not true, we call all of them tea... we seem to feel there is a specific time frame at which breakfast becomes lunch, lunch becomes dinner, and dinner becomes breakfast again. It almost feels impolite be giving a meal the incorrect title, so, to resolve such matters, when we don't know quite where the meal fits, we just call it tea.

If you "couldn't care less" then you care the least possible amount -> insult.

If you "could care less" you care at least a little bit (otherwise it wouldn't be possible to care less) -> not really a compliment either.

Oh my god read comments properly, I even say there is Scottish English you just chose not to read that bit. Also I did do research. Please type in Scottish Standard English into Google and find the page called: 'Wir Ain Leed' (Tried to put the link in but Youtube stopped me) If you don't believe I looked at this website look back and see I almost quote it. Also so you are telling me if I asked an American what language they are speaking that they would say English?
