Lasso by Phoenix at the Agganis Arena, Boston University

On Monday, October 18, 2010 I had the pleasure of seeing the band PHOENIX LIVE in Boston! I also had the great honor of being extremely close to the stage... I was in the second row of people on the floor. The second song Phoenix performed was "Lasso", which is one of my favorite songs. Ever. So I decided I want to try and capture it on video, which is what you see here... along with the mass of indie punk kids trying to trample me to reach Thomas Mars. This video are two clips put together, one clip from the beginning of the song, the other from the end... when Thomas Mars came off stage. :D I had to take a video just for proof. I didn't film the entire song because that kind of ruins the concert experience. I also didn't want to upload a video where ya'll can hear me singing and jumping up and down at the same time in the moshpit. I'm actually singing along in the second clip. I am thanking God right now that you cannot hear my voice in this video.

At the end of the concert during their song "1901" Thomas Mars went over the fence that separates the crowd from the stage and stood 2 FEET away from me, in the crowd... and totally held my hand for 15 seconds. and looked at me. while singing. he smiled too. HEHEHEHEHE :D The people around me touched his head and messed up his hair. After the concert they were like "DID YOU SEE HOW I MESSED UP HIS HAIR LOL" I didn't do that because it felt creepy. I think holding his hand was much more respectful and feels more personal.

I'm so bummed by the video quality. It's because I don't anything about making/editing videos. The quality of the original video clips, by themselves, are much better.
