Good stuff, congratulations. And that's four years ago, I imagine how advanced you are now. By the way, what alloy is your tube from? I also spin and recently tried 304 steel (25x1), but found out that it bends too easily on impact even before attaching the wicks.

@insanital Thanks, I have one more recent video up, look in my videos for 'Tech contact staff" but that is still 3 years old! The staff in this video was made using a stainless steel curtain pole I bought from B&Q. I found the same problem with bending though and now use 1" aluminium tubing with a 2mm wall thickness. My friends and I had to buy a bulk order from a metal suppliers (think it was about 25m) and cut them down to size as we couldn't find small quantities for sale easily.
