Serafín Fanjul es catedrático de Estudios Árabes de la Autónoma de Madrid y autor de "La forja del mito" y "La Quimera del Al Andalus". Fanjul es antropólogo y crítico literario especializado en el análisis de la literatura popular, y traductor de obras de los clásicos islamistas. Es, además, autor de tres novelas y un libro de cuentos. Debatirá con Javier Rubio sobre la malinterpretación histórica del Al Andalus y el peso de la inmigración árabe en la España actual, hablará además, de su otra gran pasión, el americanismo, y dará las claves de su obra de ficción.
