Especially not Finland? Lol... Sure it was pretty gdamn awesome winning a gold olympic medal against Finland, but I think that It was great that we faced Finland and not Canada or Usa :) I like finnish hockey and Selänne is 1 of my favorite players, but cmon show some respect, they still won the wc 2011 gold :)

@Gold2011onlymatters Hehe, it is ok. I dont know if we are bad loosers. I was myself in Bratislava and I must give Finland that when they win a FINAL with 6-1 I take off my hat and congratulate Finland. Really. Because then you are really a worthy winner of the Gold.

@trekronor You are correct. I forgot that. Then we have to dig a bit deeper and the ONLY competition where are best players. i.e. Canada Cup or World Cup. 1981 CCCP and Canada 2004!!!!
Why Swedes are so bad losers. Like Jämtin, and what he said about Koivu. Watch almost any gold seremony and you will see similar pirouettes!

As SINGLE EVENTS, ok. No other country have EVER taken the gold on SINGLE events the same year. The years listed the OLYMPIC champion became AUTOMATICALLY World Champion.

Being a hardcore Swedish hockeyfan I really have to admit that the Gold finland took against Sweden in SVK was well deserved. If you win a FINAL with 6-1 then you have proven that you really are a worthy winner.
