@magnusalexa I think you misunderstood the video. I'm not religious and I don't thank God when I eat meat. I do agree that, theoretically, much of humanity would need to be wiped out in order to have a healthy planet! But it's an easy thing to say until you imagine your family and friends as the ones getting wiped out.

@13jqloving I agree that slitting a throat is brutal. But how about being tortured to death, like what a cat does to a mouse? Or how about being eaten alive? That happens to lots of animals under attack from predators, including humans being attacked by cougars, lions, sharks, etc. We are the predators of our domestic chickens. I think of it more in terms of the food chain then as a moral dilemma to be pondered.

God is way past our time, watching over us seeing our every actions. God doesn't mind if we kill animals. If we didn't kill animals we'd have to live off veggies, which is STILL life. When we eat we kill life, even if its just the smallest atom we still kill part of life ALL the time!

If we weren't to kill animals, or chop down plants, we wouldn't be alive at all along with other animals!

Its called the way of life, LEARN IT.
