The point? I think the point (if the source of the e mail is genuine) is that he's possibly suggesting Dr Reed has been taken 'back into the fold' of academia. Therefore it seems now unlikey his life will be in danger. He may also be the voice when disclosure occurs...

I'm not entirely sure what this individual's point is but it would not be at all surprising to know Dr. Reed has received various invites to talk about the Link- especially in the science, space and engineering fields! What's the point of this?

probably because people cant handle the video of the alien blinking its eyelids and moving its pupil, nor could people handle the obelisk deying gravity on a legit veriable video that was presented to the world.
