Just down the road from Makers Mark, the Great Great Great nephews of the original Beams, whose relative include the Yellowstone and Dant brands and families, are resurrecting new tradition. This video was made in the attendance of three generations of Beams that only the grandfather ever worked in a distillery. I am proud to help share the technologies to revive the Beam tradition. And hopefully bring back an artisan flavor with care and attention to detail. After 6 hours Steve Beam reports fermentation is vigorous. Oh by the way we did a 5 gallon UJSM too. He wants to make that a 100 Gallon UJSM asap in hogs heads sitting on stone work. Now that is aesthetically cool.
