Following the team of master craftsmen at RyedalePlasterers.co.uk as they hand craft and mould the plaster elements that will eventually go together to form an elaborate but beautifully ornate traditional plaster ceiling finish. Border coving and up lighting still to come.

  • Very impressive, nice to see your plaster shop is as clean as ours.

  • Wish more people could afford things like this..here in the USA, no one wants to spend any money...it's all dryall and popcorn ceilings. I do decorative vertacal concrete..and would love to do more work on ceilings and walls.

  • 2.56 HE BANGS HIS HEAD ON THE NEW CEILING WHAT A SPAZ

  • Fantastic work, top class skill at it best .

  • @brofun cool, I'll look into that, thanks!

  • @PUFFTHEMAGICMARMOT Consider installing metal lath over your ceiling in the shape you want..then use lightweight vertical concrete mix..install it..texture it..then carve it then color it! There is a great site called vertical artisans...they have a wonderful variety of pictures that you can look at.

  • @brofun I want to build a fan vault ceiling. I am considering making plaster bricks to shape and reinforcing it w/ concrete. Unfourtunately, I'm an artist, have limited funds, I cannot afford to just pay someone, nor would I want to. I would appreciate any tips you might have so that I keep it within code, or angles I haven't considered. Thanks.

  • total skill! nice to see ...sad to see its an art that is dyeing through lack of training
