Naturebound responded to my comments on your basement shop - not a wrong account. Nice too see a large project to completion and sharing it.

The first challange of building this project was designing it so it could be taken apart to get out of my shop and into her house. I built the crown molding on top and the base molding going around the bottom. Soon I will try to post more photos.

Yes TomH127, thanks. The largest project so far was a corner entertainment center almost 7feet tall with six raised panel doors (5peice) and the unit was built in two sections with over $600 of walnut in the project not counting the oak.

you need to build yourself a nice big work shed in the backyard!

Yes. I have a 16x32ft. section on the garage that is walled off and insulated and fitted with electricty allready for my shop to move out there. I have some workbench allready built and a radial arm saw in place. I need to put heat out there first though. Hopefully next summer I will be out there. The car and truck use the other half of the gareage.

ya, heat can be a problem with today's energy prices. if there weren't so much sawdust in my garage the first thing I would install is a wood stove, absolutely. Two trips to an empty wood lot during the year and enough to wood to burn for the winter ...
may end up going with a propane burner, up front costs are a bit hard to swallow but,

My house insurance wont allow a wood stove in there. Thinking of a small propane heater also mounted in the wall or a blower type up in a corner. May need about two of the those tall tanks and a thermastat. Keep it above 55* and the glue will be fine then. And it wont take long in the morning to warm it up to a nice temp to work in building a woodworking project, or just goofing off in there, wishing I had a project going.
