My Car (3000GT/Stealth)

Just a short video of my car and the new headlights I got for it. I got tired of the pop-ups, but since there is no kit made for the 1st generation 3000GT/Stealth cars, I got a kit made for Mazda RX-7 and made the required changes in order to make it fit on my car.

What mods did you have to do in order to get the lights to fit?

I had to use some bondo, in order to extend the hood and to fill the holes of the bumper that were there for the 2nd gen. stationary lights. Also, I had to trim the bumper slightly on the outer headlight side since the RX-7 headlights' shape is a little bit different than the 3KGT. If you have a 1st gen. bumper, you probably won't have to fill the headlight holes with bondo.

Thank you. I have a black 1992 3000 GT, and I want some angel eyes. I'm going with a black and purple autobot theme and those lights will bring it to life! I'll keep in touch so I can have the best advise when it comes to the conversion! Peace!

What year is your car? And which headlights are thoes?

It's a 92 Stealth ES. However, I have made a 3000GT body conversion, except for the sail panels. The headlights are for Mazda RX-7 and I got them from eBay. I had to do some modifications, in order to get them to fit.

They probably can, but you will have to do some bondo work like I did...
