Rory Gallagher was for me the best blues/rock transition style guitarist there was but Rory had range, he could play any style at virtuoso level. He is greatly missed but we still have his music. ;-)

What I really really like in Rory is that he was not bothered to play 2 billion notes in a frac of a second... He could olny play ONE note and wrap arroung that tune the whole world. Of course he IS the King. ... oh and this man who plays the accordeon... tha man I S L O S T.. you can tell he is gone when he plays!!!... amazing people. Thank God we had Rory, even for so little... yet SO much

In Austria where I live, the accordion is a quite traditional instrument. Unfortunately, I really don't like the stuff that most of my fellow countrymen are playing with it. Further, I think that most of the people in AUT associate the accordion with those ugly tunes ;-)
Everytime when a friend of mine says that the accordion is an oooooold-fashioned instrument, I have to think of this song. I really like the bluesy way they use it - doesn't remind me of our ugly tunes at all ;-)
